From first entry to portable proof
The product is designed around the actual journey: a household knows the worker first, the worker owns the profile, and every future household adds proof instead of starting over.

Create the relationship
A household adds a worker they already employ, or records a draft when the worker does not yet have a phone number.

Confirm consent and identity
The worker controls consent. Identity checks are stored once and disclosed separately to each household.

Build the work record
Salary terms, pay cycles, start dates, household vouches and verification status become structured history.

Share the profile
The worker can share a public trust profile and a report QR without exposing private contact details by default.

Operate the pilot
Admins can handle support, duplicate accounts, verification queues and contested vouches without touching raw data unnecessarily.
The important design choice: StandByMe records trusted relationships. It does not turn workers into a browsable marketplace.
